The
Siobhanathon is a fund raising project set up to raise money for
children who suffer terminal or life changing illnesses.
Our
aim is to help children and their families to have a little respite from the
everyday pains of these conditions.
We raise money by holding a bike rally every year, doing sponsored events such as sky diving and raffles, and of course, by the generous donations of the British public.
Every
year we transfer the funds into the account of the parents of the nominated
child for that year. We aim to raise at least £1,500 for every child we help. A
percentage of the funds go to the running costs of the events we put on, but we
do try to self fund these as much as possible.
Anyone
who wishes to be involved in The Siobhanathon in any way, may contact Juke via farquah26@hotmail.co.uk,
or Gary via garyhdn@yahoo.co.uk.
We
will both be happy to answer any questions you have, and give advice on how you
can get involved in this very worthy cause.
Thank you for your interest, your time, and most of all, your generosity.
